We’re humans — wired for story; the only species that live by the stories we’re told and the stories we tell. If we want anything in our lives to be different, we need to have access to those stories.
The Storysphere is where all stories live: stories that stimulate our emotions, drive our actions, influence our relationships, and define what we see as possible. These stories come from everywhere — our childhoods, the culture, the news cycle, the voice in our head whispering you’re not ready yet.
At Storysphere Central, we’re a community of curious humans exploring the hidden stories that shape our lives: the challenges, disappointments, perceived limitations, as well as inspiration and joy.
Together we’ll learn to put into practice strategies based in neuroscience, coaching, mindfulness, and creativity. All in the service of creating more wonderful lives and a more wonderful world.

Why Stories Matter
Stories masquerade as reality
We generally think of a story as fiction; an account of imaginary or real people and events told for learning or entertainment. But not when it comes to us because we are not works of fiction. Or are we?
Most of us move through life unaware that these fundamental stories—hand-me-downs from family, culture, and the primal brain—shape every feeling and choice we make. Once you see them for what they are (stories, not reality) you can own them, edit them, recreate them, or embrace them.
The Storysphere is a sphere of powerful influence. Wake up and use that power well.

Since our primal brain’s primary function is survival, it responds to threats — real or imagined — by pulling up old, pre-loaded stories designed to protect us.

What you see today is only the beginning
Over the next months we plan to add themed rooms, a resource vault, and live interviews—much of it shaped by your feedback. What we need most from you right now is your participation and exploration. We have so much to learn about the community: your likes and dislikes, what you value and what you need.
One of the values we have is honesty. And so, we want you to know that Storysphere Central won’t be free forever. We’ve invested years of wondering and learning to be where we are now. And, as with any startup, there has also been a financial investment and ongoing costs to host this community.
When we are confident that you clearly value what we are offering, we will initiate a modest monthly subscription fee. We hope that you will enjoy your time at Storysphere Central enough to keep playing even when we ask for your financial support. That’s our story and we’re sticking to it.
